"Having a background as a personal trainer, I had an extremely limited understanding of how the body works. That limited understanding led me to be able to lend a hand with a medical emergency experienced by a Fair Lawn Citizen. The euphoric feeling led me to test out what being an EMT with the Fair Lawn Ambulance Corps. would be like. Ever since my first shift during the pandemic in 2020, I have loved being part of this tight-knit family that serves an incredible town filled with some of the nicest people around. Volunteering for this town 

feels like an honor on every shift and every call. I tested my curiosity here and I challenge you to do the same. It may very well be the best thing you ever did. That's how I feel".
